Birge, Spohrer & McClelland Move from the Bottom on to the Knockout Round

February 23, 2020 • Bass Pro Tour

Today, a handful of MLF pros proved that in this format it’s not how you start the Qualifying Round, it’s how you finish it. Mike McClelland, Gerald Spohrer and Zack Birge all had slow starts to the Bass Pro Tour Favorite Fishing Stage Two Presented by Bass Cat

During Friday’s Qualifying Day 1, McClelland put just over 5 pounds on SCORETRACKER®. Spohrer had a little over 2 pounds at the end of Day 1, and Birge zeroed. All three pros turned things around on Sunday for Qualifying Day 3, and now they’re moving on to Tuesday’s Knockout Round.
