Bass Pro Tour rookie Dakota Ebare didn’t win the Fox Rent A Car Stage Six Presented by Googan Baits, but he did walk away with a big bass bonus and a memory he won’t soon forget. Ebare landed a 7-pound, 10-ounce smallmouth during the Championship Round on Cayuga Lake. He set a Bass Pro Tour record in the process, it was the largest smallmouth bass caught during an MLF competition. It was also the largest bass caught during Stage Six on Cayuga.
