GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. – Jacob Wheeler and bass fishing success go hand-in-hand; but it’s been a while (by Wheeler’s standards) since he’s won a Bass Pro Tour event, having scored trophies in 2019, 2020, and three times in 2021. With a two-day total of 54 pounds, 15 ounces at Toro Stage Four Presented by Bass Cat, Wheeler claimed his sixth trophy and the $100,000 check to go with it.

Surrounded by family, friends, and fans, Wheeler was award his sixth trophy and shared his thoughts on the process and how much it all means to him.
