Bryan Thrift started and ended his day in the No. 1 position by catching five bass weighing 15 pounds, 6 ounces for a two-day total of 33-2 and a 1-9 lead over second-place angler Alton Jones Jr. going into Championship Sunday. But, the race isn’t over yet as everyone in the Top 10 is within 9 pounds or less of claiming the title and $300,000 grand prize.
