GROVE, Okla. — Check out some of the MLFNOW! livestream highlights from Qualifying Day 1 Zenni Stage 6 Presented by Toyota.
Jake Lawrence continued his winning ways, but he didn’t have to do much today to make it happen thanks to his Day 1 total of 112 pounds, 7 ounces on 35 scorable bass. While preparing for Championship Sunday, Lawrence went ahead and caught an additional 15 scorable bass for 42-2 and a two-day total of 154-9 on 50 scorable bass. The next-closest angler to Lawrence’s two-day total was just a couple bass above his Day 1 total, as Mark Rose placed second with 117-9 on 36 scorable bass.
Meanwhile, the suspense was mounting along the Lucas Oil Cut Line as several anglers jumped into and out of the Top 25 throughout the day. Ultimately, Matt Becker claimed the final seat in tomorrow’s Knockout Round with 77-10 on 28 scorable bass with Brent Chapman narrowly missing the cut with 76-4 on 27 scorable bass.
