GROVE, Okla. — Check out some of the MLFNOW! livestream highlights from Qualifying Day 1 Zenni Stage 6 Presented by Toyota.
A slow start gave way to a hot finish for Jake Lawrence. The Tennessee angler only had two bass to his name on SCORETRACKER® until about 10:30 a.m. when he dialed it in and rocketed to the No. 1 position, ultimately finishing about 70 pounds clear of the Lucas Oil Cut Line with 112 pounds, 7 ounces on 35 scorable bass. However, Grand Lake’s proven to be a place where anything can happen and Jacob Wheeler could possibly claim the automatic berth to the Championship Round if he can close the gap tomorrow as Wheeler’s about 21 pounds away from the lead with 91 pounds even on 30 scorable bass.
Meanwhile, it’s an extremely tight race along the elimination line and just about everyone remains within striking distance of 25th place. Day 1 concluded with Michael Neal in 25th place with 41-2 on 14 scorable bass and Takahiro Omori close behind with 38-13 on 16 scorable bass.
Stage 6 action continues tomorrow with the full fleet of anglers returning to Grand Lake for Qualifying Day 2 on the MLFNOW! livestream at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app, and Rumble at 7:30 a.m. CT.
