The Qualifying Round’s impressive start on Saturday concluded with an equally impressive finish as Justin Lucas brought a two-day total of 51 bass weighing 181 pounds, 1 ounce to advance directly to the Championship Round.
Everyone in the Top 10 for Group A caught more than 100 pounds and the Toro Cut Line was set at 73 pounds, 3 ounces with Jonathon VanDam in 20th with 24 bass.
Vandam on up to second-place angler Jacob Wheeler will return to Cayuga Lake for the Knockout Round on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the action will continue on Monday for Group B’s Qualifying Day 2.
