CULLMAN, Ala. – Check out some of the MLF NOW! live stream highlights for the first Qualifying Day of the Favorite Fishing Stage Three Presented by Mercury on the 2022 Bass Pro Tour. Fans and contestants alike may have experienced some déjà vu on Wednesday as Jacob Wheeler once again took an early lead over Group A on the first Qualifying Day.
A couple of weeks ago during Stage Two on Lake Fork, Wheeler took an early lead on the first Qualifying Day with 14 bass weighing 56 pounds, 7 ounces. This time around, he took the lead with 30 bass weighing 57-1, on Smith Lake.
Wheeler, and the rest of Group A, will return to Smith Lake on Friday for their Qualifying Day 2. But the action will continue on Thursday for Group B’s Qualifying Day 1.
