Toro Cut Line: MLF Pros Fight for the Final Spot in the Stage Six Championship Round

August 22, 2022 • Bass Pro Tour

UNION SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Bass Pro Tour pros know they want to avoid the stress of being on the Toro Cut Line during the Qualifying and Knockout Rounds. But sometimes, it’s unavoidable.

During the Knockout Round of the Fox Rent A Car Stage Six Presented by Googan Baits, several Bass Pro Tour anglers found themselves within reach of making the Top-8 cut as time ran out in the third period. In the final hour of the day, Dakota Ebare caught a 5-pound, 6-ounce smallmouth on Cayuga Lake that cemented his spot in the Championship Round.
