During the second Shotgun Round of the Bass Pro Tour Phoenix Boats Stage Five Presented by Mercury, Cullman native Jesse Wiggins ended the day on top of SCORETRACKER, setting a record on Smith Lake for the most fish caught in one day of an MLF Bass Pro Tour Stage. He caught 49 bass for a total weight of 72 pounds, 4 ounces. Todd Faircloth is sitting in second place going with 56 pounds even. Shin Fukae is in third with 53-13. Those weights will carry over to Group B’s Elimination Round on Friday, where 40 anglers will compete and the bottom 20 will be eliminated.
