It didn’t take long for 2012 Challenge Cup Champion Brent Ehrler to figure out the pattern on Lake Wylie during Sudden Death Round 2 of the 2022 Lucas Oil Challenge Cup Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches. In about 90 minutes, he reeled in seven bass weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and he hit the 8-pound Target Weight before the rest of the pros on the water.
The California angler also won Elimination Round 3 of this year’s Challenge Cup with nine bass weighing a collective 13 pounds, 11 ounces.
