KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Dustin Connell was the first MLF pro to hit the 10-pound Target Weight at Sudden Death Round 1 of the Academy Sports + Outdoors Heritage Cup Presented by Magellan Outdoors.
Nine MLF pros competed on lower Fort Loudoun Lake during this Sudden Death Round. However, they didn’t learn where they’d be competing until they showed up at the ramp in the morning. It was a short day on the water for Connell because he was able to hit the Target Weight shortly after the start of Period 2.
