DALLAS, Texas – Edwin Evers needed only 1 pound, 4 ounces to be the first to hit the 15-pound target weight during the Sudden Death Round 2 of the 2022 Builders FirstSource Patriot Cup Presented by Guaranteed Rate.
Shortly after the start of Period 2, Evers swung a bladed swim jig on Eagle Mountain Lake and pulled out exactly what he needed, a 1 -4. James Elam, Wesley Strader, and Skeet Reese also hit the target weight, with Elam having the highest total weight of 17 pounds, 6 ounces.
