SHREVEPORT, La. – Alexis Virgillito and Taylor Bacot won the March 13 LHSAA High School Fishing State Championship on Caddo Lake with an incredible five-bass limit worth 30 pounds, 3 ounces.
Repping the Bossier, Louisiana, Parkway High School Panthers, Virgillito is in eighth grade and Bacot is a freshman and their boat captain was Brad Virgillito, Alexis’ father.
