John Cox traveled to the challenging Lake Chickamauga to compete against the impressive field of FLW’s top professionals. The field included Buddy Gross, who is from Chickamauga, and was fishing his home waters. Gross was heavily favored to win the event, but Cox proved to be the better angler that week. Cox, the DeBary, Florida pro and 2016 FLW Cup Champion, weighed-in an incredible four-day limit of 83-pounds, nine ounces to capture a six-figure paycheck.
