This week, Major League Fishing continues its mission to recognize and thank anglers who have fished 100 or more tournaments with MLF and its predecessors by highlighting four more Century Club members – a group consisting of more than 1,300 anglers spanning 30-plus years of recordkeeping. Each member of this week’s Spotlight has an MLF career that spans not just years but decades.
William Campbell – Middlesboro, Kentucky
Since William Campbell’s first MLF event in 2004, the longtime Toyota Series Central Division and Phoenix Bass Fishing League Mountain Division angler has racked up 127 total events to the tune of nine Top 10s and a win. Campbell has also made a Toyota Series Championship appearance, spent a little time on the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit and has twice finished in the Top 50 in AOY points (Central Division) as a boater since 2019.
Doug Odom – Huntsville, Texas
A longtime member of FLW/MLF, Doug Odom recorded his first tournament with the organization in 1995 and has amassed 113 events since – his most recent being a 10th-place finish at Sam Rayburn less than a week ago for his fourth career MLF Top 10. In the last three full seasons fishing the BFL Cowboys Division, Odom has finished no lower than 40th in Angler of the Year points.
Evan Barnes – Dardanelle, Arkansas
With more than $300,000 in career winnings in just 121 total MLF events, Evan Barnes made good use of his time on the Pro Circuit from 2016-2022 with AOY finishes of 23, 38 and 19 in 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively. Barnes has also fished three Toyota Series Championships and notched a Toyota Series win on Lake Texoma in 2021 for a payday of nearly $41,000.
Kyle Glasgow – Guin, Alabama
While Kyle Glasgow has fished several divisions (across multiple MLF circuits) since 2001, his bread and butter has been the Toyota Series Southern Division (two Tops 10s and four Top 40 AOY finishes in five seasons) and the BFL Mississippi Division (nine Top 10s since 2003, including THREE in 2020). In total, Glasgow has fished 144 total MLF events and tallied 18 Top 10s in those tournaments.
Congratulations to these four Century Club members and thank you to all those who have and continue to support Major League Fishing on the water and off.
