Major League Fishing pro Bradley Roy has made a few monumental changes in recent months. He announced his decision to compete in the MLF Bass Pro Tour in September. He married the love of his life, Danielle, in October. And in November, he landed a new title sponsor: Covercraft, the world’s largest manufacturer of custom-patterned vehicle covers.

“After working with Bradley this year as an associate sponsor, we are confident that expanding our relationship with him in 2019 will make for an amazing year with Major League Fishing,” said Covercraft Director of Marketing Jeff Jegelewicz.

Jegelewicz says Roy stands out as a pro angler because he is committed to giving back. The Kentucky pro runs a high school tournament every year in his home state, as well as benefit tournaments for USACares, a non-profit organization that assists military families in crisis.

“Bradley’s core values and commitment to giving back are in line with Covercraft’s mission to preserve and protect the things that people build memories with and pass on to the next generation,” said Jegelewicz.

Roy says his partnership with Covercraft is a perfect fit because he is a year-round outdoorsman.

“I’m hard on my equipment,” admitted Roy.

Covercraft products help him protect his truck and boat when he’s out fishing or hunting.

“Covercraft is a great fit for any outdoorsman,” he said, “Everybody’s got to have a truck to pull a boat. And everybody wants to protect their investments. Covercraft does a great job of doing that.”

In late January, Roy will be driving his new Covercraft-wrapped truck and boat to Kissimmee, Florida to compete in the first-ever MLF Bass Pro Tour event.

“Every fall there’s the excitement of the new year, but especially this year, because we’re embarking on some new territory,” he explained. “A lot of anglers probably feel the same way with the new Bass Pro Tour. I’m kinda anxious to get it going.”

Roy says the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes will be the perfect place to showcase the MLF format.

“I’ve done really well in Florida before, and I’ve done really bad,” Roy said. “Florida is kind of a feast or famine type place. Most anglers will tell you that.”
