Anglers on the West Coast will have an opportunity to celebrate the life of Aaron Martens this weekend.

Friends and family of Aaron Martens have set up the Hogsnatcher Benefit Event in California on December 18, 2021. The event will run from noon until 6 p.m. at the Lake Casitas Recreation Area at 11311 Santa Ana Rd., Ventura, CA. Family friend and WON BASS Tournament Director Billy Egan organized this event.

There will be live music from the Samantha Cary Band and food will be available for purchase. There will be free parking available and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the day with the loved ones of Aaron Martens.

If you cannot attend the event at Lake Casitas, donations of any size are welcome through the GoFundMe page. A portion of the donations will be used for expenses at the event, and 100% of the remaining funds will go to the Martens family.

There will also be opportunities to bid for items that have been donated by sponsors to help raise additional funds. To see all available offerings, visit the Hogsnatcher Facebook Group. If you plan to attend or want more information, visit the Facebook event page.

Major League Fishing is in the process of planning a memorial event to celebrate the life of Aaron Martens during the 2022 Bass Pro Tour season. Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for updates.
