LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – The trio of Ott DeFoe, Keith Poche and Kelly Jordon hit it off instantly when they first competed together on private lakes around College Station, Texas in the Builders FirstSource Qualifier Presented by Berkley. That’s where the team, captained by DeFoe, earned a spot in the Bass Pro Shops Championship Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches.
When the team met in Clermont, Florida, they tried on their bright orange Team Kubota jerseys and sat down for a quick strategy session before the competition began. Luckily, MLF cameras were there to capture the conversation and the moment that DeFoe presented his team members with a thoughtful gift.
