One thing is for certain when you try to break down a new lake in the spring: bridges over tributary creeks are a good place to start. We hopped in the boat with Mercury Marine Pro Team member Fred Roumbanis as he took a spin around a new-to-him lake in Northern Alabama, watching over his shoulder as he broke down his options. “Boom Boom” relied on a couple of can’t-miss components: a swimbait and a bridge. After watching Roumbanis load up, it’s hard to argue with his approach.
