TYLER, Texas – General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops is MLF’s big bass championship, and Alton Jones Jr. proved that Lake Palestine is the perfect venue choice for this event. During the Heavy Hitters Knockout Round, the Texas native caught a 6-pound, 10-ounce bass to start Period 2, and followed it up with an 8-3 a couple of hours later.
