Could the third time be the charm for Jeff Sprague at REDCREST? The 2020 Challenge Cup champion is back for his third shot at a REDCREST title. Sprague notched a 29th-place finish in 2021 on Lake Eufaula. Photo by Josh Gassmann. Angler: Jeff Sprague.

MASSENA, N.Y. – Wind, waves and Jacob Wheeler were the themes of the General Tire Stage Five Presented by Berkley Championship Round. Wheeler wrapped up the event with the title and $100,000 check after catching 129 pounds of bass on the final day, nearly 29 pounds above second-place Jeff Sprague. The rest of the field was catching ’em, but couldn’t keep up with the now four-time Bass Pro Tour Stage winner.

Hop on the water with the Championship Round field as they duked it out on the St. Lawrence River one last time!
