MONROE-WEST MONROE, La. – Jacob Wheeler hit his stride early during Group B’s first Qualifying Day of General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Although he’s collected many trophies over the years, Heavy Hitters has eluded Wheeler – having placed ninth in 2020, third in 2021 and 19th in 2022.
