AUSTIN, Texas – While most of the 40-man field is experiencing a stingy Lake Travis, Jacob Wheeler and Zack Birge seem to be on a different lake entirely. By the end of Period 1, Wheeler had loaded more than 30 pounds of bass onto SCORETRACKER® and Birge 24-13, while third place Ott DeFoe sat at 13-1.
