Give John Murray’s Triple Drop-Shot a Shot

August 24, 2021 • Bass Pro Tour

MLF pro John Murray has learned over 30 years of tournaments and several years of guiding that creativity is a key to enticing pressured or reluctant fish. We hopped on Murray’s boat for a spin around his home lake – Watts Bar Reservoir – for a quick look at a presentation that he brings out when fish are tight-lipped: the triple drop-shot. Think of it as a miniature Alabama rig: a bait with unique appeal that you can cover water with.
