Matt Becker more than redeemed himself after placing 20th in the Qualifying Round by not only winning the Knockout Round, but doing so with only one catch made in the second half of the day for 44 pounds, 10 ounces on 15 scoreable bass. Meanwhile, the only angler to not turn on his forward-facing sonar claimed the coveted ninth-place position. Mark Daniels Jr. broke his dry spell and earned his first Top-10 finish since Stage 7 of the 2023 Bass Pro Tour with 34-6 on 11 scorable bass – a mere 2-12 ahead of 10th place.
Stage 3 action concludes tomorrow with the Top 10 anglers returning to Lake Murray for the Championship Round on the MLFNOW! live stream at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app, and Rumble at 7:30 a.m. ET.
