Jeff Sprague continued his winning ways by improving on his already stellar start from Day 1 and once again catching 18 scorable bass. On Thursday, he was miles ahead of the pack with 59 pounds, 13 ounces and on Friday he topped that with 62-3 for a two-day total of 122 pounds even on 36 scorable bass – winning the Qualifying Round by more than 30 pounds over second place. Meanwhile, Matt Becker claimed the final seat in the Knockout Round by a hair with 58-14 on 17 scorable bass – a mere 5 ounces ahead of 21st.
