Alton Jones took no prisoners as he finished the day a solid 27 pounds ahead of second-place angler Dustin Connell with 25 bass weighing 92 pounds, 13 ounces.
Group B finished their first Qualifying Day with a minimum of 32 pounds needed to score a position above the Toro Cut Line. But, Mille Lacs has proven that anyone could quickly ascend SCORETRACKER® at any moment, so it’s still anyone’s game until the end of Group B’s Qualifying Day 2 on Tuesday.
