Ott DeFoe Dominates on Harris Chain to Advance to Knockout Round

May 24, 2021 • Bass Pro Tour

After a slow start to the Favorite Fishing Stage Three Presented by Bass Cat Boats, Ott DeFoe boated 66 pounds, 4 ounces of scorable bass during his second day on the Harris Chain. While he started the day in 28th place, well below the Toro Cut Line, he ended Group B’s Qualifying Day 2 in second place with a total of 78-2.

When DeFoe competes in the Stage Three Knockout Round on Tuesday, all 38 anglers’ weights will zero and the top eight pros at the end of the day will advance to the Championship Round. Brett Hite and Bobby Lane automatically advanced to the Championship Round by winning the Qualifying Rounds of Group A and Group B (respectively).
