Wagner triumphs in 40th All-American on Lake Hartwell
SENECA, S.C. – It was mostly a two-man race going into the final day of the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Presented by T-H Marine All-American on Lake Hartwell, and Matthew O’Connell and Emil Wagner both outdistanced the rest of the field. In the end, it was Wagner who got it done, weighing 17 pounds, 7 ounces for a 55-11 total and the win. For his victory, Wagner takes home $122,300, plus a berth in both the 2023 Toyota Series Championship and the 2024 REDCREST.
On the Strike King co-angler side, Larry Taylor earned the win and $50,000 with a 24-8 total.
