2020 Contingency Awards

MERCURY BONUS BUCKS:

The Mercury Bonus Bucks contingency bonus goes to the winning angler in each qualifying event if he or she is the original registered owner/first purchaser of a 2018 or newer 115-250 HP Mercury outboard. (Mercury National Team pro team members are excluded, as National Team contractual incentives will apply.)

  • Angler must be the original registered owner/first purchaser of a 2018 or newer Mercury outboard, 115 through 250 HP only. Mercury Racing and Mercruiser engines are excluded regardless of horsepower rating.
  • Angler must have the outboard registered with Mercury prior to competing. The Mercury Warranty registration phone number is 920.929.5054.
  • Angler must use the outboard all days of competition during the tournament.
  • Mercury has final say on approvals for all contingency payouts and reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time without notice.

It is the responsibility of anglers to make sure the engine is registered in their name with Mercury prior to competing. Non-registered engines will not be eligible. Note: For engines purchased from Mercury pro staff, please call the warranty line to confirm registration eligibility.

T-H MARINE ATLAS AWARDS:

T-H Marine awards cash prizes to Atlas Awards members who are the winners or highest qualifying finisher of sanctioned events, giving everyone the opportunity to win like top-level pros. The Atlas Awards program is just $29.99 for a one-year (Jan. 1, 2020– Dec. 31, 2020) membership and gives all anglers the chance to compete for, and win, extra money just for having T-H Marine parts on their boat. This also includes one T-H Marine hat and two logo decals. Logo must be visible on boat and jersey worn on stage. Jersey logo can be replaced with Atlas cap.

Highest-Finisher Awards:

If an Atlas Awards member does not win the event, T-H Marine will pay $100 to the highest-finishing Atlas Awards member inside the top 10 percent or $50 to the highest finisher inside the top 20 percent. To receive the highest-finisher award, Atlas Awards member must own Atlas Hydraulic Jack plate and fill out claim form. All Atlas Awards claims must be submitted within 30 days of tournament win. Claims must be made through the online claims form.


POWER-POLE CAPTAINS CASH:

Power-Pole awards a $250 Captains Cash Bonus to the winner of each FLW College Fishing presented by YETI tournament if he or she meets Captains Cash Rewards Club contingency requirements.

Requirements:

  • Captains Cash Rewards Club is open to all tournament anglers fishing any Captains Cash sanctioned event.
  • Annual membership is $24.95. Membership is valid from October through December of the following year. Purchase a Club Membership
  • Registration must be completed prior to any sanctioned tournament to be eligible for contingency payments.
  • Eligible contingency payment participants are registered Power-Pole owners who are registered members of the Captains Cash Club.
  • Registered Power-Pole owners placing first place overall only in a sanctioned event are eligible for contingency payments.
  • Power-Pole Pro Staff are required to purchase Captains Cash membership in order to qualify for Captains Cash Rewards payments.
  • Only one possible payout per tournament. A maximum of one angler per tournament will be rewarded.
  • Sanctioned tournaments must have a minimum of 20 boats registered to qualify for Captains Cash Rewards payments.
  • Winners must be verified through the sanctioned tournament via website, newsletter or other official organization communication and obtain tournament director’s signature on claim form.
  • Completed Power-Pole Captains Cash claim form must be submitted within 30 days of the tournament win and can be obtained here.
  • JL Marine Systems employees and members of their immediate family are not eligible to participate.
  • Approval of claims and payments is at sole discretion of JL Marine Systems, Inc.
  • Payment claimants must have Power-Pole registered with JL Marine Systems (manufacturer).
  • Power-Pole Captains Cash decals must be displayed on participants’ boat or Power-Pole anchor.
  • Approval of claims and payments is at the sole discretion of JL Marine Systems, Inc.
  • Payment claimants must have their Power-Pole anchor(s) registered with JL Marine Systems, Inc.
  • Power-Pole Captains Cash decals must be displayed on participant's boat or Power-Pole anchor.
  • Power-Pole Captains Cash 4" logo must be displayed on the upper-left shoulder of the participant's shirt. Captains Cash logo must be worn from take-off through weigh-in during all days of sanctioned tournaments. Logo is available in various formats. Download logos
  • JL Marine reserves the right to change, modify, enhance, or terminate the Captains Cash Rewards program at any time. Refer to power-pole.com for current rules. Rules posted at power-pole.com supersede any previously printed rules.
  • It is the participant's responsibility to know the rules of the Captains Cash Rewards program and must submit proof that all requirements have been met upon request.
  • Power-Pole Captains Cash Rewards recipients will be responsible for paying any and all local, state, federal or other taxes on contingency earnings.

TOYOTA BONUS BUCKS

The Toyota Bonus Bucks program is totally free and is available to college students who own or lease a Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, Sequoia or 4Runner. Vehicle may be registered in parent(s) or legal guardian’s name. When you win, your college club also wins a matching contingency award. B&W HITCHES

B&W Hitches awards two (2) Tow and Stow Adjustable Ball Mounts valued at $200 each to the highest-finishing team in each Abu Garcia College Fishing presented by YETI tournament that meets B&W Hitches contingency requirements. Requirements: The B&W Hitches logo must be visible on the front of the anglers’ jerseys or B&W Hitches-branded clothing, hats and/or visors. The B&W Hitches logo must be displayed on the team’s tow vehicle and/or boat. The anglers must verify participation in the B&W Hitches program at registration for each tournament by showing FLW staff the B&W Hitches logo on their jerseys. It is the responsibility of the anglers to let FLW staff know they are participating in the B&W Hitches program.


Wiley X FLW Rewards

Wiley X awards a pair of Wiley X sunglasses to each member of the highest-finishing team that meets Wiley X FLW Rewards contingency requirements in each YETI FLW Abu Garcia College Fishing presented by YETI tournament. Requirements: The Wiley X logo must be visible on the front of your jersey or Wiley X branded clothing, hat and/or visor. Wiley X branded sunglasses must be worn on stage (on your face, around your neck or on your hat). The Wiley X logo must be displayed on your tow vehicle and/or boat. You must verify participation in the Wiley X FLW Rewards program at registration for each tournament by showing FLW staff the Wiley X logo on your jersey, Wiley X branded clothing, hat and/or visor.


FLW SCHOOL OF THE YEAR:

Three hundred points are awarded to the winning conference team in each tournament, 299 to 2nd, 298 to 3rd, etc. Each school receives the total points earned by their top two conference teams in each tournament. School of the Year is awarded to the school with the highest point total in each conference after three qualifying events are complete in the conference. Overall School of the Year is awarded to the school with the highest point total from any conference at the end of the season. In order to be considered for overall School of the Year, the conference must average at least 50 boats per tournament. Schools receive bonus points for competing in the Open. Bonus points only count toward the overall School of the Year award, not conference School of the Year awards.
