DALLAS, Texas – Edwin Evers won Elimination Round 3 of the 2022 Builders FirstSource Patriot Cup Presented by Guaranteed Rate by a long shot with 11 bass weighing 31 pounds even, nearly 12 pounds ahead of second-place angler John Cox who reeled in 10 bass for 19-04. Evers’ stunning lead was partially thanks to him catching the biggest fish of the day, an impressive 6-12, far outweighing the next-biggest catch of the day, Cox’s 4-03. Rounding out the Top 8 was Matt Lee with four bass weighing 8-07.
