ANDERSON, S.C. – On a week where the mercury will climb into the 90s around Lake Hartwell, the action at the scales for the 2024 Abu Garcia High School National Championship Presented by Tackle Warehouse looks like it’ll be hot as well.
Some 233 high school teams brought fish to the scale at Green Pond Landing, led by Josh Kauffman and Trent Carey’s 12 pound, 2-ounce three-fish limit. Here’s a look at weigh-in on the first day of the three-day tournament which will crown a new High School Fishing National Champion.
This event is hosted by the Anderson Convention and Visitors Bureau.
