KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Representing Lithium Battery Power, 18-year-old Toyota Series pro Dylan Quilatan, Don Mitchell and Diane Cobbs caught and weighed 18 bass totaling 96 pounds, 10 ounces, to win the 2026 ICAST Cup at Lake Toho Presented by Major League Fishing.

The four-hour bass-fishing tournament, hosted by Experience Kissimmee, served as one of the kickoff events to ICAST 2026 and marked the official consumer debut of SCORETRACKER® LIVE. In its 12-year history, the charity tournament has raised more than $103,000 to benefit the recreational fishing industry’s angler advocacy program, Keep America Fishing™.

Tuesday’s field featured 36 boats, including anglers from the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit and Toyota Series, along with outdoor media members and representatives from prominent tackle brands and nonprofit organizations. This year’s tournament raised $7,200 for Keep America Fishing™.

Lithium Battery Power’s performance was nothing short of dominant. The team finished more than 55 pounds ahead of runner-up Don Coffey Company after catching three bass over 8 pounds and three more that fell just shy of the 8-pound mark.

Quilatan located the winning area during a shortened practice session Monday. After initially searching for numbers of smaller bass to take advantage of the every-fish-counts format, he discovered one hard-bottom area not far from the tournament ramp that held both schools of 2-pound-class bass and significantly larger fish.

“There were schools of 2-pounders everywhere, and around each school there would be one giant roaming nearby,” Quilatan said. “You might only see one of those big ones every 20 or 30 minutes, but when we got an opportunity, they would bite. We caught three over 8 pounds and three more that were just under 8. It was an unbelievable morning.”

The area was no secret. Quilatan estimated that nearly 20 boats – including local anglers and ICAST Cup competitors – were fishing in the immediate vicinity. Rather than abandoning the crowded location, the Lithium Battery Power team methodically worked a concentrated 50-yard stretch.

“We just weaved in and out of the other boats and kept catching them,” Quilatan said. “We had to fish really slowly. It might have looked like we were moving around, but we were basically going in a circle in one little area and letting the fish come to us.”

Quilatan targeted the larger bass with a soon-to-be-released urchin-style bait, a 21mm Z-Man Sputnik in the Scuppernong color. Mitchell fished a Z-Man SMH Worm, while Cobbs used a ChatterBait. All three team members contributed fish throughout the morning.

“We were all catching them, and we had a blast,” Quilatan said. “One of us was always casting while the others were getting a fish into the boat, weighing it and uploading it. It was pretty much nonstop all morning.”

The ICAST Cup also provided competitors with their first opportunity to use SCORETRACKER® LIVE in consumer tournament competition. Available through the BUBBA® app and compatible with BUBBA® Smart Fish Scales, SCORETRACKER® LIVE gives tournament organizers, competitors and fans access to real-time scoring and live leaderboard updates using the same technology that has transformed competition on the MLF Bass Pro Tour.

The platform supports catch-weigh-release tournaments, traditional five-fish events, big-fish competitions and team tournaments. Competitors can see their position throughout the event, creating an additional strategic element that Quilatan believes played a role Tuesday.

“It was really fun knowing what everyone else had, and it definitely makes you fish differently,” Quilatan said. “As our score kept going up, it probably got into some people’s heads. They might have felt like they needed to hurry up and fish faster to catch us, but we did the opposite. We slowed down and let the fish come to us.”

SCORETRACKER® LIVE makes the same real-time scoring technology used by Bass Pro Tour anglers available to tournament organizers, competitors and fans nationwide through the BUBBA® app. The platform was introduced at ICAST 2025 before undergoing extensive beta testing and real-world tournament use ahead of its official consumer launch, this week.
