Both Sides of the Elimination Line: Stage Seven, Elimination Round 1

June 3, 2019 • Bass Pro Tour

For Jason Lambert and Keith Poche, it was a heartbreaking day on Table Rock Lake. During Elimination Round 1 of the Bad Boy Mowers Stage Seven Presented by Covercraft, Lambert and Poche moved above and below the Elimination Line throughout the day. For Lambert, it came down to the final seconds. He caught a bass, but he was just a few ounces shy of 20th place. Poche ended the day in 22nd, just 1 pound, 3 ounces behind Randy Howell, who finished in 20th place.

Jonathon VanDam and Howell finished in 19th and 20th, respectively. We spoke with all four anglers at the end of the day, right after they came off Table Rock Lake, to talk about the stress of the Elimination Round and why they love the MLF format.
