Boaters and Strike King co-anglers interested in fishing the Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by T-H Marine can register now for 2025.

The Bass Fishing League is the only circuit where anglers can fish close to home with opportunities to advance to the All-American, Toyota Series Championship and even REDCREST, which provide opportunities to win top boater awards of $120,000, $235,000 and $300,000, respectively (including Phoenix MLF Bonuses).

Each qualifying tournament will continue to offer a top boater award up to $13,000, including a $7,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, and a top Strike King co-angler award of $3,000. Top awards jump up to $16,000 for boaters and $4,500 for Strike King co-anglers in Super Tournaments.

New this coming year, there is an expanded slate of Regional events, which will give anglers more chances to qualify for the All-American and further minimize travel costs. This expansion ensures that grassroots MLF anglers can fish closer to home on lakes they know and love for a chance to win a $50,000 Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat with a 200-horsepower outboard as a boater and a new $20,000 cash award as a co-angler, plus qualification into the BFL All-American Championship. Increasing the number of Regional tournaments to 12 will allow 65 boaters and co-anglers to qualify from each division – up from 50 in 2024 – while simultaneously reducing the field size in each Regional from 200 to 130 boats.

How to register

Participants must be MLF Premium Members to register for a tournament. Anglers can join or renew with MLF and register for tournaments at majorleaguefishing.com/join or by calling 270.252.1000.

Entry fees

Entry fees for one-day qualifying tournaments and the Wild Card are $220 per boater and $110 per co-angler. Two-day Super Tournament entry fees are $330 per boater and $165 per co-angler. Regional entry fees are $350 on the boater side and $175 on the co-angler side.

AOY prizes

In addition to tournament winnings and postseason opportunities, the Fishing Clash Angler of the Year in each division will receive $1,000. On the co-angler side, the best in each division will take home $500 in Strike King Co-angler of the Year prize money.

Postseason opportunities

This season, anglers can qualify for 12 Regionals, where the first-place boater can tackle home a Phoenix 819 Pro with a 200 HP outboard top boater award, plus applicable contingency bonuses. The winning Strike King co-angler earns $20,000.

The Regional fields are composed of the top 60 boaters and co-anglers from each of two divisions plus tournament winners who fish two or more events in the same division in which they won qualify for each Regional. This will decrease the field size from 200 boats last season to 130 boats while increasing your odds of winning

The top three boaters and co-anglers from each Regional and the Wild Card in 2025 will qualify to fish the no-entry-fee All-American in 2025. The highest-finishing boater and co-angler from each Regional and the Wild Card at the All-American will advance to the Toyota Series Championship.

As was the case in 2024, the All-American boater champion will advance to REDCREST for a shot at winning $300,000 and fishing against the best pros in bass fishing.

Other changes for 2025

The 2025 season brings with it a few other changes, in addition to the postseason enhancements. For one, on the co-angler side, the limit has been reduced to three fish, which is anticipated to make competition tighter and relieve some pressure off anglers. Second, to level the playing field a little more, MLF’s new forward-facing sonar rules mandate that all boats are limited to two in-use forward-facing or 360-degree sonars on tournament day.
