Gary Klein Discusses his Passion for Conservation

February 26, 2022 • Fisheries Management Division

Gary Klein is more than just Major League Fishing’s co-founder and an expert angler. He’s also passionate about preserving and promoting bass fishing for future generations via conservation and sharing fishery data across state lines.

“As we continue our projects and collect all of this data all across this country, it’s only going to enhance the fisheries for new anglers and young anglers that are getting involved in the sport so that they can have the same experiences that we’ve had on the water over the years – a lot of fish, big fish, and big bags of fish,” Klein said. “It’s definitely a responsibility that I take very personally and I want to ensure the future of our fisheries.”
