With pro entry fees remaining stable since 2020, the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats continues to be the best option for triple-A fishing. The five geographic divisions feature reasonable travel and great fisheries, so there’s an option for just about anyone looking to get in on the action, be it on the pro side or as a co-angler, and the payouts continue to astound.
Each Toyota Series tournament allows pros to compete for a top award of $75,000 in a 160-boat field, including a $35,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, and co-anglers to compete for a $33,500 Phoenix 518 Pro bass boat powered by a 115 HP outboard. Plus, the winners of each tournament automatically qualify for the Toyota Series Championship, which features $10,000 bonuses to the highest finisher from each division.
The time is fast approaching to sign up for 2026:

Toyota Series Championship offers huge rewards

The highlight event of the fall, the nationally televised Toyota Series Championship is a huge tournament in which pros fish for $235,00, including a $35,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, and co-anglers compete for a $33,500 Phoenix 518 Pro bass boat powered by a 115 HP Mercury or Suzuki. The Toyota Series is the only regional circuit of its kind with a no-entry-fee world championship.
In the coming year, Pickwick is the place to be for the Toyota Series Championship, and if it’s half as exciting as the last time the championship was there, it will be a great one. Back in 2021, Brent Crow moved from 10th to first on Day 3 with over 23 pounds of tailrace, topwater smallmouth – an epic feat.
The winning pro at the Toyota Series Championship qualifies for REDCREST 2027 and the chance to win $300,000, and the highest-finishing pro from each division, including the Wild Card, receives a $10,000 bonus.
Unbeatable schedule options

The 2026 schedule for the Toyota Series might be one of the best we’ve seen, with a great blend of old favorites and new twists.
Out the gate, the Central Division hits the Tennessee River and then Lake Eufaula (the good one) for what should be a fantastic finish to the season. The Northern Division doesn’t change much, but hitting the Potomac in June always produces better fishing than an early fall event.
The Plains Division may have the biggest change up. The March event on Lake of the Ozarks ought to be a banger with good weather, and the season ends with a June event on Dardanelle, which has been fishing quite well of late. The Southern Division focuses on Florida as usual, and this year the March event on the Kissimmee Chain could be great, while the April/May derby on Lake Seminole is a lock for a good time. Finally, the Southwestern Division hits up Sam Rayburn and Grand Lake plus the Arkansas River in June, which will be an interesting change of pace for a division that sometimes focuses solely on massive Texas reservoirs.
New for 2026, the use of forward-facing sonar has been restricted to three consecutive hours per day, which should make the schedules and lakes even more interesting.
Wild Card Division gives you flexibility and a second chance
While the five standard regional divisions are packed with great lakes at great times, the Wild Card option gives anglers a chance to really control things. The Top 25 pros and co-anglers from the Wild Card Division make the Toyota Series Championship, and all you need to do to be eligible is fish four or more tournaments in any combination of divisions. Once you fish four, your three best finishes count in the points race.
