Leading sports programmer also to introduce FLW “Bass Profiles”

Don’t forget to tune in to ESPN2 this Sunday, Oct. 8, to catch all the blistering bass action from the 2000 Red Man All-American held on Lake Hamilton, Ark. Watch as 51 of the nation’s hottest anglers battle it out in the last of the “Red Man” All-American tournaments. Showtime is 11 a.m. EST.

Also slated is ESPN’s new “Bass Profiles.” Hosted by Jerry McKinnis, the program looks into the lives and careers of some of the FLW Tour’s biggest names. The show debuts Saturday, Oct. 7, 7:30 a.m. EST on ESPN2 and profiles a different pro angler every week. Look for in-depth interviews with Denny Brauer, Steve Daniel, David Walker, Peter Thliveros, Scott Martin, Clark Wendlandt, Carl Svebek, Rick Clunn, Ken Cook and Mike Wurm.

If that doesn’t quench your appetite for hot TV bass action, you can always relive the 2000 Wal-Mart FLW Tour on ESPN2’s fall schedule. Starting with tour stop #1 on Lake Okeechobee, Fla., airing Monday, Oct. 9, 6 a.m. EST, ESPN2 will run all six regular season events, as well as the FLW Championship, throughout the fall season.
