We left La Crosse last night and managed to put about one hundred of the six hundred mile drive from there to Detroit behind us before stopping for the night. Today we continued, and to our surprise actually finished by 9pm. We are camped for the night in a Wal-Mart parking lot, and are planning to meet Dick at the launch ramp at 6am. We will have only two-and-a-half days of practice now for the FLW on Lake St. Clair, which begins on Wednesday, so let’s just hope that some of the things we learned here the week before last we can put to good use.
