Regsistration for the 2002 Texas Tournament Trail will be open to the general public beginning Nov. 26. However, priority registration – designated for Ranger boat owners only – will commence on Nov. 19. Tournament fees will be $350 for the Pro Division and $100 for the Co-angler Division for the 2002 season.
Specific registration rules regarding the 2002 Texas Tournament Trail are as follows:
* Participation is open only to members of Operation Bass who are 16 years of age or older. Any person entering a tournament under the age of majority must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the entry form.
* For Ranger boat owners, entries will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler spots for tournaments beginning 8:00 a.m. CST, Nov. 19, 2001.
* For all others, entries will be accepted to hold spots for tournaments beginning 8:00 a.m. CST, Nov. 26, 2001.
* Entries may be made by mail, phone, fax, or on the Internet; walk-in entries will not be accepted. Each qualifying tournament will be limited to 400 contestants (200 boats). Entries received after a tournament has been filled will be placed on a waiting list. Those placed on the waiting list who are not accepted into the tournament will receive a full refund after the tournament.
