Registration for the 2002 RCL Walleye Circuit will open to the general public beginning Jan. 16. Priority registration – earmarked for pro anglers who agree to enter all four qualifying events, and co-anglers who own Ranger, Crestliner or Lund boats – will take place on Jan. 14. Qualifying tournament entry fees will be $1,250 for the Pro Division and $500 for the Co-angler Division for the 2002 season. Entry fees for the 2002 RCL Championship are $1,500 for the Pro Division and $750 for the Co-Angler Division.

Specific registration rules regarding the 2002 RCL Walleye Circuit are as follows:

* Participation is open only to members of FLW Outdoors (formerly Operation Walleye) who are 16 years of age or older. Any person entering a tournament under the age of majority must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the entry form.

* Qualifying events – Pro-angler participation is open only to registered Ranger, Crestliner and Lund owners. Co-angler participation is open to the general public, with an early entry date afforded to owners of Ranger, Crestliner and Lund boats.

* Pros may submit a $500 deposit for each event to hold their spots. Co-angler may submit a $250 deposit for each event to hold their spot.

* For pro anglers who agree to enter all four qualifying events AND own a Ranger, Crestliner or Lund boat, non-transferable, non-refundable deposits will be accepted to hold tournaments spots beginning 8:00 a.m. Central Time, Jan. 14, 2002. Co-anglers who own Ranger, Crestliner or Lund boats may make non-transferable, non-refundable deposits beginning Jan. 14 as well.

* For all other entries, non-transferable, non-refundable deposits will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler tournament spots beginning 8:00 a.m. Central Time, Jan. 16, 2002.

* Deposits may be made by mail, phone, fax, or online at: www.flwoutdoors.com. Entry fees (minus the deposit amount) may be transferred or refunded if Operation Walleye is notified PRIOR to the entry deadline.

* Those placed on a waiting list who aren’t accepted into a tournament will receive a full refund.

* The top 35 pros and top 35 co-anglers from each event will qualify for the year-end RCL Walleye Championship

* Anglers may fish in ONLY one division (pro or co-angler) and must complete and submit an entry form within 15 days of the qualifying event.
