Priority registration for the 2004 EverStart Series begins Nov. 11 for the top anglers in each EverStart division and for anglers qualifying through the Wal-Mart BFL with a deposit deadline of Dec. 1. In addition, Ranger boat owners and sponsor entries will be allowed to register as early as Dec. 2 while owners of Champion and Stratos boats will be permitted to begin registration Dec. 3. For other entries, registration will begin Dec. 4.

Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments by Dec. 4 will be given priority over anglers who enter less than four events. Tournament fees are unchanged from last year, remaining at $650 for the Pro Division and $250 for the Co-angler Division.

Registration can be completed online or by contacting FLW Outdoors headquarters at (270) 252-1000.

Specific registration rules regarding the 2004 EverStart Series are as follows:

* Participation is open only to members of FLW Outdoors who are 16 years of age or older. Any person entering a tournament under the age of majority must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the entry form.

* The top 40 EverStart pros and co-anglers from the Central, Northern and Eastern divisions (top 30 from the Western Division) and anglers who qualify for entry through the Wal-Mart BFL from the 2003 season must have their deposits for all four tournaments within a division paid by Dec. 1, 2003 in order to secure their entry priority position.

* For Ranger boat owners and sponsor entries (FLW Outdoors will reserve sponsor spots in each qualifying tournament), nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 2, 2003.

* For Champion and Stratos owners, nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 3, 2003.

* For other entries, nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 4, 2003.

* Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments by Dec. 4, 2003 will be given priority over anglers who enter less than four events.

* Deposits – $100 for pros and $50 for co-anglers – may be made only by mail, phone, fax, or on the Internet at FLWOutdoors.com. Do not make entry by more than one method; walk-in entries will not be accepted. Maximum field size for each qualifying tournament will be 400 contestants (200 boats). Entries received after a tournament has filled will be placed on a waiting list. Those placed on the waiting list who are not accepted into the tournament will receive a full refund after the tournament.

* A completed entry form and the complete entry fee must be received no later than the published entry/balance deadline for each tournament. Confirmed entries are contingent upon balance being paid by the balance deadline date. Entry fees (minus the deposit amount) may be transferred or refunded if FLW Outdoors is notified prior to the entry/balance deadline. Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded after the entry/balance deadline. Deposits may not be transferred or refunded at any time.

* Two hundred points will be awarded to the winner of each qualifying tournament, 199 to second, 198 for third, etc. All anglers who receive weight credit will receive points. The top 40 pros and co-anglers (top 30 from the Western Division) from the point standings after the four qualifying tournaments in each division (ties resolved by total weight) will be invited to the year-end championship and will receive priority entry status in their respective class for the 2005 EverStart Series.
