Thanks to some new and innovative technology, hardcore walleye-fishing enthusiasts and casual fans alike will be able to get “real-time” weigh-in results on FLWOutdoors.com from the Sept. 29-Oct. 2 Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Championship on the Mississippi River.
So what does that mean exactly? With our cutting-edge FLW Live™ format, fans will be able to listen to live audio feeds from the actual weigh-in tent in real time. In short, FLW Live will bring the live weigh-in format right to your computer screen.
But that’s not the only highlight of the new live weigh-in window.
At any moment during weigh-in, fans can search for their favorite anglers and get their specific day’s weigh-in results. Throughout the weigh-in, FLWOutdoors.com visitors will receive detailed information (including angler photos) that specifically outline what future weight totals anglers will need to make each cut or win the tournament. The top-10 pro and co-angler leaderboards will be constantly updated on FLW Live to bring fans the latest action and up-to-the-second tournament-day standings as well.
To locate FLW Live, simply go to any FLWOutdoors.com page and click on the FLW Live icon located in the left-hand navigation bar or click here. The start page will appear. Follow the directions to activate “FLW Live.”
The FLW Live page is currently accessible, but the actual application will be activated shortly before each tournament weigh-in begins. Check the FLW Live schedule on the start page for specific weigh-in times each day. Flash Player 6 is required to operate FLW Live, and a free download is available at the FLW Live page.
