Walleye fans across America no longer have to suffer in silence while their bass counterparts exclusively enjoy direct access to their angling icons. Starting March 21, FLWOutdoors.com will introduce a column specifically intended for casual and serious walleye anglers alike. Do you have questions that you would love to pose to a walleye expert? Do you have a fishing buddy who thinks he knows it all, and you’d love to prove him wrong?

Here is your chance. FLWOutdoors.com will publish a weekly online question-and-answer column entitled “Ask the Walleye Pro.” The column provides readers with the unique opportunity to communicate directly with the top walleye anglers in the country and gain invaluable fishing information.

All you have to do is submit your questions to us via e-mail at [email protected] and we’ll get your fishing inquiries to the professionals.

The range of question topics is unlimited: what electronics to use, boat control, weather patterns, rod and reel selection, when and where to use certain baits and lures, and how certain walleye behaviors change as the season progresses are just some of the possibilities.

The “Ask the Walleye Pro” staff includes the following successful walleye anglers: Eric Olson; Nick Johnson, winner of the 2004 RCL Walleye Championship; Richard Lacourse; Aaron McQuoid; Jeff Taege; 2003 Angler of the Year Jason Przekurat; 2004 Angler of the Year Dennis Jeffrey; Bill Leonard, Tom Keenan, winner of the 2003 RCL Walleye Championship, Pat Byle and Troy Morris.

When submitting your questions, please include your full name along with the city and state in which you live.

Our “Ask the Walleye Pro” column will appear regularly every Monday in the E-zine “Columns” section of our Web site. Look for it on the right-hand side of FLWOutdoors.com’s home page.

So don’t be shy. Take the opportunity now to improve your knowledge base before the pursuit of the elusive marble-eye begins this season.
