Hydra-Sports and Wellcraft customers buying a new boat between Feb. 16 and March 31 will have the option to choose from a cash rebate of $900 to $12,000, a Raymarine electronics package valued at $9,700 to $27,500, or free entries for an entire season of FLW Kingfish Series or FLW Kingfish Tour competition depending on the model purchased.
As a pathway to the FLW Kingfish Tour, the new FLW Kingfish Series features five divisions – Florida: East Coast, Florida: West Coast, North Carolina, South Carolina/Georgia and Gulf Coast – with three, one-day $100,000 qualifying tournaments per division. Teams compete for a guaranteed top award of $12,000 cash in every tournament, ranking the events among the richest one-day regional tournaments in the nation. Tack on Hydra-Sports, Wellcraft and Yamaha bonuses totaling $18,000, and the winner’s take could be as much as $30,000 at every FLW Kingfish Series stop.
FLW Kingfish Series teams also compete for valuable points that could earn them a trip to the no-entry-fee, $300,000 FLW Kingfish Series Championship in Orange Beach, Ala., Oct. 26-28, which will be televised nationwide as part of “FLW Outdoors” on FSN (Fox Sports Net).
Each FLW Kingfish Tour stop features a $330,000 cash purse. Teams compete for a top award of up to $40,000 cash in every tournament plus Hydra-Sports, Wellcraft and Yamaha bonuses totaling $60,000 for a potential winner’s take of $100,000. The full field competes for two days and is cut to the top five for day three.
FLW Kingfish Tour teams also compete for valuable points that could earn them a trip to the tour’s no-entry-fee, $500,000 championship in Mount Pleasant, S.C., Nov. 9-11.
