Ever wanted to test drive a new Ranger boat or check out the revolutionary new line of E-TEC engines from Evinrude Motors? Well, here’s your chance. On Saturday, April 8, Ranger/Evinrude will provide fishing fans and boating enthusiasts with an opportunity to test drive the latest models of Ranger boats equipped with Evinrude E-TEC motors during the final day of competition at the Wal-Mart Open.
The family friendly event – which will take place at the Prairie Creek Marina located at 1 Prairie Creek Drive in Rogers, Ark. – will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central Time. Throughout the day, participants will have an opportunity to test drive Ranger boats powered by Evinrude motors on the open water. The test-driving demonstration will feature all the latest technology from Ranger Boats as well as highlight the revolutionary power and performance of Evinrude’s E-TEC engines.
Customers who participate in the “Greater than Test Drive” event will receive a free Ranger/Evinrude Test Pilot t-shirt and hat. In addition, participants who ultimately purchase a Ranger/Evinrude boat package will receive the standard three-year Evinrude engine protection plan as well as a bonus two-year extended service protection certificate for their engines – a total package representing five full years of engine protection. Customers who purchase a boat will also receive a free boat cover from Ranger Boats.
Representatives from both companies will be available to answer any questions participants may have in regards to Evinrude and Ranger products. Door prizes are available throughout the day as well.
In addition, professional anglers from both the Ranger and Evinrude pro staffs will also offer a variety of fishing seminars, which are open to the general public throughout the day. During the seminars, anglers will demonstrate different fishing techniques, discuss bait-and-tackle presentations, participate in product demonstrations and provide a number of professional fishing tips for participants of the “Greater than Test Drive” event.
