Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be on the open water in a Ranger boat traveling in excess of 60 mph? Well, here’s your chance. Beginning Jan. 15, fishing and boating enthusiasts interested in test driving a Ranger boat can do so in virtual fashion – by sitting behind the wheel of the latest technological breakthrough in simulated travel – the BP Ranger boat simulator.
The innovative BP Ranger boat and fishing simulators mimic the exact action and feel of being out on the water. Simultaneously, fans will get to experience the excitement of tournament fishing as well the exhilaration that comes from piloting a Ranger boat across open waters at high speeds. Imagine the thrills and excitement of an amusement park ride combined with the non-stop action of a state-of-the-art computer video game – and you’ll start to understand what the BP Ranger boat and fishing simulators are all about.
The Ranger Boat simulator will be made available to the public from Jan. 15 through Feb. 3 at select BP locations (see schedule below). The simulator also will be featured Jan. 27 at the FLW Outdoors Family Fun Zone from noon to 4 p.m. during the final day of FLW Series competition, scheduled to take place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 1005 W. Sugarland Highway in Clewiston, Fla.
Remember, not only is the simulator a one-of-a-kind experience, but best of all, participation is free of charge. So don’t wait. Head on down to the Ranger boat simulator location nearest you and experience the thrills and chills of driving a brand new Ranger boat – just like the pros!
