In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the thirteenth installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Monday, April 16, at 3 p.m. Central Time (4 p.m. EST), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with Wal-Mart FLW Tour pro Mark Davis of Mount Ida, Ark., in a special live chat room format.

FLW Live Reel ChatAs the recent $100,000 winner of the 2007 Wal-Mart FLW Tour event on the Fort Loudoun chain of lakes, Davis currently boasts nearly $300,000 in career earnings in FLW Outdoors alone. In addition, Davis is a past BASS Angler of the Year, former Bassmaster Classic champion and a winner of five BASS events. Since 1997, Davis has logged six top-10 finishes on the FLW Tour, including his first-ever win at Fort Loudoun. While Davis’ track record at FLW Outdoors events is impressive, it’s even more astonishing when taking into account the fact that Davis took a five-year hiatus from the FLW Tour beginning in 2000. However, since the 2006 season, Davis has come back strong, netting over $150,000 in earnings on the FLW Tour in only eight events.

Chat directly with Davis

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on April 16, visitors can log on shortly before 3 p.m. Central Time (4 p.m. EDT) and begin submitting questions. During the chat, fishing fans will be able to ask Davis about his most recent FLW Tour win, what life is like as one of the nation’s top anglers, or anything else that comes to mind. Visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are also permitted to log on and submit questions up to one week prior to the chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on April 16.
