In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 15th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Monday, July 23, at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. Eastern), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with bass pro Steve Clapper of Lima, Ohio, winner of the Wal-Mart FLW Tour Chevy Open, in a special live chat-room format.
A longtime Lake Erie stick, Clapper has raked in honor after honor in Stren Series and BFL competition over the years, winning seven events and logging an astounding 31 top-10 finishes. His crowning achievment came July 15 when he won the Chevy Open at the Detroit River/Lake Erie, adding yet another win and top-10 appearance to his resume. Not only did he win the first FLW Tour event he ever entered, but he managed to nearly triple his career earnings with FLW Outdoors after taking home the $200,000 first-place prize from the Chevy Open.

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat July 23, visitors can log on shortly before 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. Eastern) and begin submitting questions. During the chat, fishing fans will be able to ask Clapper about his first-ever FLW Tour win, what life is like as one of the nation’s top anglers, or anything else that comes to mind. Visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are also permitted to log on and submit questions up to one week prior to the chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on July 23.
